I have to say it...Kids do say the darnedest things. I have to say it would be unusual, but not impossible for a child to be a returning parent. It's my understanding that it takes about 40 of our years for a Ka or spririt to return to earthly existence, but sometimes it happens much sooner. Over the years, did you notice that your daughter had any traits or characteristics that you only associated with your mom? When my youngest was about 2 or 3 she use to tell me "I am your mommy". At the time part of me wondered about it because my own mom was dead.
